I. Office of International Affairs (OIA): International Students Section

Services: 

This section was established to assist foreign students to adapt to a new setting life in Taiwan while they study at the National Taipei University. A variety of services are provided to assist students to successfully settle into their new living environment. These include a specific orientation and welcoming ceremony for overseas freshmen, continuing assistance with visa applications, part-time job applications, and guidance with the completion of scholarship applications.

II. Academic Affairs Services

A. Registration Section

Services:

1.     General affairs of student status

a.    Freshmen application for admission retention.

b.   Freshmen registration.

c.    Examine and issue various official documents regarding students’ status, such as student ID cards; on-leave; withdrawal; repulsion; credits; majors; minors; Chinese/English certificate of diploma; Chinese/English certificate of enrollment; and other relevant documents.

2.    Transcripts

a.    Manage and mail the semester transcripts for the enrolled students.

b.   Issue official Chinese/English transcripts for current students and alumni.

c.    Assist teachers/students to correct errors or to solve problems regarding grades/scores.

Services:

2.    Course registration

a.    Arrange the course registration schedule and requirements

b.   Review the process of course registration, check and ratify the common courses.

c.    Organize the results of the course registration and solve problems for students who do not meet the requirements.

a.    Setup the examination date.

b.   Regulate the examination rules.

c.    Copying services of the exam-sheets.

III. Student Affairs Services

A. Healthcare Section

Services:

Provide health advisory and basic medical service in our Health Center with doctors from reliable hospitals. The services is free of charge if you present your student ID at the time of your visit.

B. Student Counseling Center

Services:

Student Counseling Center is a warm, caring and professional place in NTPU. Here we offer students a variety of mental health services, including individual counseling, psychological testing, thematic groups and workshops, mental health activities, and Chinese mental health books, and DVDs to borrow.

C. Student Conduct and Campus Lifen Section

Services:

Dormitory and traffic safety matters, new student training, graduation ceremonies, student affairs meetings, school weekly meeting and school officer weekly meetings, process military conscription deferment and calls, school fee waivers, public assistance for military personnel, teachers and civil servants, outstanding student award, outstanding graduate applications.
