How to Apply

Please use the following instructions to apply for the Bachelor Program in Smart Sustainable Development and Management (SSDM).

Description

1.

Application Form

1.Register an account at the Online Application System.
2.Fill the form online

2.

2-inch Headshot

1.Please provide JPG file.
2.The headshot should be taken without a hat on

3.

Declaration Form

Applicant must affix his/her signature on the declaration and upload it to the online application system.

4.

A Photocopy of the Passport

Please provide the main page of the passport. (The main page is the page with headshot and personal information.)

5.

The Highest-Level Certificate or Equivalent Academic Attainment

1. It should be issued by an international education institution (A copy of translation in Chinese or English is necessary if the original diploma is NOT in Chinese or English)
2. It must be authenticated by a ROC embassy, consulate, representative office or other agencies authorized by the Ministry or Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Taiwan (R.O.C)
3. Current graduates are required to submit an offical certificate of expected graduation (Enghlish or Chinese) issued by the school in lieu of the diploma at the time of application.

Offcial Undergraduate Transcript

1.It must be authenticated by a ROC embassy, consulate, representative office or other agencies authorized by the Ministry or Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Taiwan, ROC.
Or presented by the applicant’s former school, which is to be directly mailed to the intended institutions in a sealed envelope.
2. Do NOT send a hardcopy of your official transcripts but upload a scanned copy of it/them as PDFs, along with all the other supplementary materials, into your online application.
3. Please note that you may be required to provide the origianl transcript(s) once you are admitted.

Financial Statement or Scholarship Award Document

1. An official certificate indicating an account balance of more than NTD$ 200,000 (USD$ 6,500) and issued within 3 months by financial institution that sufficient funds are available to support the applicant during the studies in Taiwan, mailed directly to the intended institutions in a sealed envelope.
2.If the certificate is not in the name of th
e applicant, a signed sponsorship letter is required, in which the relationship between the sponsor and the applicant is stated and the support of the applicant’s expenses for the duration of the applicant’s studies in Taiwan is guaranteed.
3.It could be a scholarship awarded document.

Letter of Recommendation

At least 2 letters of recommendation are required.

9.

Certificate(s) of English Proficiency

Non-English native speakers should provide certificate(s) of English language proficiency. For example, a TOEFL score, IELTS score, or other proofs of English language proficiency.

10.

Autobiography

Use at least 12-point front
