SSDM Scholarship

Eligibility:
Any full-time foreign students who have enrolled in the Program may apply for the scholarships. Newly admitted students may apply before enrollment. However, those who are receiving domestic or foreign scholarships (including the Taiwan Scholarship and the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship of the Ministry of Education) are not eligible to apply. Nevertheless, the receipt of MOE Taiwan Scholarship could receive the program scholarship subsidy that covers the portion of their basic tuition and fees and the credit fee required for graduation exceeding NTD 40,000 per semester. If the final result of the applied external scholarships is not known yet, students may still apply the program's scholarship, but need to report about the external scholarships he/she had applied. The amounts of scholarships shall be determined by the Program Affairs Meeting.
Types of scholarships:
- Full scholarship: this scholarship covers the full tuition and stipend NT$ 40,000 in each semester during the period of study.
- Half scholarship: this scholarship covers half of tuition and stipend NTS 20,000 in each semester during the period of study.
- Partial stipend: this scholarship covers partial stipend NTS 10,000- NT$ 20,000 in each semester during the period of study.
How to receive your scholarship:
It is only applicable to students who complete the admission procedures at National Taipei University and will not be retained for students who withdraw. The scholarship disbursement process is as follows:
(1) You are required to pay all tuition and miscellaneous fees first, keep receipts, and complete the admission procedures.
(2) Open a bank account at any local bank or post office in Taiwan and submit the "Passbook Photocopy" and "Payment Receipt" to the Program Office after enrollment.
(3) The scholarship amount will be deposited into your account, and the process is expected to be completed approximately one and a half months after the start of the semester.
